Seeing is Believing?

Please excuse my absence for I having been suffering major heartburn from the bullshit served up by fast food. Today's post, I'm afraid, will be extremely short. It seems I can't stay off the toilet long enough to write a significant post, compliments of McDonalds! Those greasy bastards!

I will try to be more active on this blog because I know that all of you would love to fast food go up in flames. But for now, I just want to send out a message...a warning, if you will.

What you see...

....isn't exactly what you get!!

Seriously, have you ever got a sandwich that looks just like it's advertised? Or even barely resembles the pic in the ad?

I didn't think so!

McS*it.

Mcdonalds is junk. That burger in ad is made from real cow. You'd be lucky if that burger you have is goat or better

You can find a lot of examples in the internet on how they get us with marketing, even in youtube there's a video of how those maketing companies make the pictures, there is no hamburguer on it, everything is plastic and stuff

seems delicious, supported!

yep, i always bring up that whenever a new restaurant opens up and it has pictures on their menu

It always happens and no, it doesn't have to look as advertised. As always read the fine print.

Despite the fact this post was not exactly a shining endorsement of America's fast food juggernaut, it still made me hungry.

that's true

yes it is true, but hey, you can't advertise a crappy looking burger, that is not how it works

I'm glad somebody called attention to this blatantly false advertising. I don't think the people who work at the McDonalds near my house like me very much, whenever I eat breakfast there I demand that they make my sandwiches FRESH. I don't mind having to wait 3 extra minutes in order to get a mcgriddle that doesn't have the consistency and texture of play-doh.

This always seemed like the worst crime in the world when I was a kid.

I think subway is the worst for this.

You hit the nail on the head brother.

Yeah... don't ice cream ads use shaving cream instead of whipped cream? Mmmmmm delicious.

Wow, that's awful. I hate how they false-advertise like this!

And yeah, like someone above said, Subway is definitely the worst offender.

what a great comparison, that is totally what its like going to any fast food restaurant

In my experience, the good-looking sandwiches tend to come from restaurant chains (and I do mean "restaurant" as in "eat first, pay later"). Their foods tend to be crafted to perfection.
